Alexander Berg Appointed Country Manager Norway

Alexander Berg has been appointed Country Manager Norway, succeeding Kristian Fredrik Mehus, who will transition to a permanent Country Manager role in Heimstaden Denmark after overseeing both markets since February 2026.

Having recently surpassed the 20-year anniversary with Heimstaden, Alexander brings extensive experience from across the organisation. Most recently, he served as Head of Asset & Property Management in Norway.

– “I am excited to take on this new responsibility and build on the strong foundation already established in Norway. I look forward to working alongside our dedicated colleagues across the organisation as we continue creating value for our tenants, colleagues, and stakeholders,” says Alexander Berg.

Chief Operating Officer of Heimstaden Bostad, Paul Spina, says the appointment reflects both continuity and confidence in internal talent:

“I am a strong believer in promoting from within when we have the right talent, and Alex is the obvious choice for this role. He combines a deep understanding of our business with an exceptional leadership style, and he has earned strong trust across the organisation. We greatly value working with Alex and look forward to building on our Norwegian operations together in the years ahead.”

Alexander Berg will assume the role with immediate effect.
