Heimstaden Bostad AB strengthens its presence in Denmark through an acquisition from Birch Ejendomme of 703 homes in several attractive locations by its Danish subsidiary Heimstaden Bostad Investment 9 A/S.
The portfolio consists of 7 properties, of which 4 are standing assets with the remaining 3 properties under development and are acquired in a forward purchase structure with turnkey delivery in Q4 2026 and Q4 2027, respectively.
The transaction is structured as multiple share deals, with standing assets expected to close in end of August and the beginning of October. The forward projects will close after technical completion and lease up provisions are achieved.
The properties complement Heimstaden Bostad’s existing geographical footprint and operational platform with property and facility management capabilities across Denmark. The properties are developed by Birch Ejendomme and are located mainly in Horsens, Ballerup, Hasselager, Vejle, and Viby Sjælland.
