Green Financing Framework

As a major property owner and operator, we focus on reducing our environmental impact while contributing to solutions to broader societal challenges, such as climate change, segregation, and housing shortages.

Guided by the Paris Agreement, we are working to reduce emissions, improve energy efficiency, and strengthen our resilience to climate-related risks. Our climate targets were validated by the Science Based Targets initiative in 2022 and are aligned with the 1.5°C pathway, supporting Europe’s ambition to achieve climate neutrality by 2050. To help deliver on these targets, we have developed a clear roadmap and committed more than SEK 7 billion through 2030.

Our reporting is aligned with CSRD, as adopted in Swedish legislation, as well as the EU Taxonomy and TCFD recommendations. We also disclose through CDP and GRESB. In addition, our sustainability strategy supports the UN Global Compact and is aligned with the Sustainable Development Goals and Agenda 2030.

To support the transition to a low-carbon economy, we have introduced a dedicated Green Financing Framework. Developed in alignment with the ICMA Green Bond Principles and the LMA/APLAM/LSTA Green Loan Principles, this Framework replaces the previous green bond frameworks published in 2019 and updated in 2023.

Framework proceeds are directed to EU Taxonomy-aligned projects, including green buildings, major renovations with significant energy performance improvements, and energy efficiency measures.

The Framework has been independently reviewed by Sustainable Fitch and awarded an “Excellent” Second Party Opinion, their highest possible assessment.
